How it works

1. Connecting & Planning


In the first step of the process, we will connect and discuss session expectations and investments. Picking a location, putting down a non-refundable retainer, and signing a contract are apart of this step as well.

2. The Session


The fun part of the process! Get dressed up, and head to your session location! Please be on time for your session.

3. Photo Delivery


Now that your part is done. I will edit your photos, get rid of any fly aways, and deliver your gallery!

How do we book a photo session with you?

What should we wear for our session?


Wear something you are comfortable and confident in!


Some Tips:

  • Neutrals are timeless!
  • Try to coordinate colors with everyone involved in the session.
  • Avoid tight clothing! You will want to be comfortable during your session!

How long does it take to get our photos?


Please allow 1-2 weeks to receive your photo gallery, depending on the session type.  About 3-5 days after your session, I will send you a sneak peak!

What kind of sessions do you offer?


I offer pretty much any kind of photography session besides weddings & newborns. Sessions I do offer are:

Booking fees / Cancellations / Rescheduling / Tardiness

 

Booking Fees: 30% of your session cost is due at the time of booking. This fee covers initial communication, session planning, and reserving a session with me. This fee is a NON-REFUNDABLE retainer, and goes towards your total price (total cost due at time of the session).


No Showing: If you do not show up for your session, you are forfeiting your booking fee and are not allowed to book with me again.


Rescheduling: I understand life happens, people get sick and things can go wrong. If you need to reschedule your session for any reason, please try to give me notice at least 24 hours in advance. If you wake up sick the day of your session please reschedule! I work with all age groups and have a little one at home. I rarely allow rescheduling because of the weather. After all, we are in Michigan. If it is pouring down rain or snowing I will reschedule with you and let you know 24-48 hours in advance.


Tardiness: Please be on time for your session! I respect all of my clients time, and expect the same from them. If you are running late to your session please message me. If you are 20 minutes late to a 60 minute session, you will have a 40 minute session. If you are 30+ minutes late to your session you are forfeiting your booking fee and I do have the right to cancel.


Mini Sessions: I do not allow rescheduling for mini sessions. Please be on time for your mini session slot, as I typically book them back to back. I will not go into someone else reserved session for any circumstances. If you are 15 minutes late to your 30 minute mini session, you will only have a 15 minute session. Because mini sessions are a small amount of time, please be aware that tardiness may reduce the amount of photos you receive back.
